Traditional Yellow Unrefined Shea Butter

Our Yellow Unrefined Shea Butter is traditionally produced in Ghana using the same premium shea kernels as our ivory Unrefined Shea Butter. During production, borututu root is added, giving the butter its distinctive golden-yellow colour.

Yellow Shea Butter and ivory Unrefined Shea Butter begin with the same high-quality shea nuts.

The main difference is that Yellow Shea Butter is traditionally infused with borututu root during production, giving it its characteristic golden colour. Both are natural, unrefined shea butters, and the choice largely comes down to personal preference and intended use.
